    The Deviyoni
    Review
    Enjoyed!
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this. My eyebrow did quirk, however, when the vocabulary seemed to shift from a rather powerful and mature stance (such as: Infinite, pearls, intoxicating) to..."out of there?" It fit the rhythm of the poem, but it seemed like such an odd transition in the vocabulary used.

    Hi Maggie,
The piece I posted here was the Deviyoni as a performance piece. The first version goes like this"
    The Deviyoni
    Gawaine Caldwater Ross

After Sharon Old’s poem Early Images of Heaven:
“It amazed me that the shape of penises, their sizes, and angles…”

The Sanskrit word Devi means Goddess,
While the Yoni is the womb, the vagina, and the vulva.
Because the yoni can conceive, this makes the Yoni
    Sacred, magical
