I love to read, and that is kind of what causes me to write. I write for many reasons, chief among them is that I find it very relaxing and enjoyable; if I have a problem, I just write about it and I start to see things differently, see solutions and things that I normally wouldn't have noticed. Also, sometimes I just get an urge to write something, like I have to do it. Its as compulserary as eating or sleeping; its a need.
Mainly, I like to write about nature; trees, plants, seasons, flowers, the sun, animals, ect. These are the things that captivate me, that I can see the clearest. I tend to write very desciptively, lingering on the details of things. I don't really write actuall stories or anything. I like to see it as a new kind of writing; descrption writing, meaning that what I write has no plot line or characters. Its strictly a description of what i see, mostly in nature, and the feelings I have at that moment. I try not to put myself in these descriptions, but it feels right sometimes. I also do some poetry, short stories, and currently I'm trying to write a childrens' book.
At the moment, I'm strictly an ametuer writer; mostly high school literature, and some personal writing, is all I've done in this area. But the more I write, the more feeling I have towards my own depth.
