Nick Zaino is a writer and musician working in the Boston area. He has been a freelance journalist for fifteen years, writing for The Boston Globe, The Boston Phoenix, American Songwriter, Blurt, Playboy, Mental Floss, and other publications. For seven and a half years, he wrote the Comedy Notes column for the Globe, interviewing comedians like George Carlin, Lily Tomlin, Jon Stewart, Ron White, Cheech and Chong, Steven Wright, Mike Birbiglia, and various local comedians.
As a musician, he has drummed in prog rock bands and performed his own original music as an acoustic solo artist. His first EP, Here's A Moon, is available on his Bandcamp site at http://nickzaino.bandcamp.com/.
He is new(ish) to the world of writing fiction, and is finding it uncomfortable to write about himself in third person.
