Bio
I am currently the proud co-founder of a new and revolutionary web company called Libboo - a company who is starting to capture the imagination of the world in our latest (well covered by the BBC) project called 'The Great Libboo Experiment'. I am also currently the Head Teaching Fellow at Harvard University teaching physics to medical students (science rocks... innit). I also double up as a Research Affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (or MIT as we say in England) working with an awesome bunch of scientists trying to find ways of getting more kids into science.

I was awarded my PhD in Computational Physics from Reading University, UK in 2009 and I received my bachelors degree in Physics from Exeter University, UK. But my life isn't all about science and nerdy computers... no - far from it.

Although my days of being a semi-professional music producer have passed - working with some awesome bands in the UK in various studios across the country - I still enjoy writing, recording, performing and producing music (see my Music page for more). I also dabble in amateur photography where on bright sunny mornings you may find me scrambling across the White Mountains with my ultra-wide lens attempting (and often failing) to capture what comes through my eyes.

I also enjoy being a part-time food critic and food writer. I am currently working on my latest cookery book 'The Evil Bread' - mixing a little science and cooking together to really get to grips with making professional bread at home.

I really enjoy cycle touring, raising money for charities, hiking, squash, computer games and i have a huge amount of respect for anyone who serves in the armed forces.

In short, there are many sides to me.
