Okay, it’s not particularly glamorous, but it’s better than a kick in the teeth, right?

Here is your chance to win some vouchers to spend! All you need to do is be the top promoter for the month of August. Anyone is eligible and the voucher will be sent to the winner via email by the 7th September.

If you want to know more about promoting, listen to Libboo’s podcast – episode 2.

The person with the most points at the end of August wins! Simple eh?

We’ve been a bit quiet on the blog over the last few weeks, we’ve been literally too busy to blog, but in a good way.

We are putting together the back-end and interface for something new, and something very exciting. It’s going to get going next year, where we will be asking anyone (and indeed everyone) to join in.

It’s amazing how much of our time we spend ankle deep in various programming languages, some of which happens in our spare time putting together various geeky projects, but it’s a lot of fun, which is why we do it.

No we’re back in London and Boston we can get back to our normal Libbooing…

As previously mentioned we came up with a lot of good ideas while we were away, and we are really keen to get them under-way.

We are going to be doing a small site re-design soon, which will make things easier to find, and to use. We will also be starting work on a small project, which is really exciting.

Is there anything you would change on Libboo, anything you think we could benefit from. Let us know what you think, we want to make Libboo as easy to use as possible, and accessible to all.

We are looking for volunteer website developers to work on Libboo.com!

We offer a free service for writers and readers to network and collaborate with each other online, and are looking for more people to join our team in introducing new and novel ways for people to work together.

I need to stress that this is not a job advert, more seeking volunteers to help us. But hopefully, if the service gets commercialised, you of course will take your fair share of the rewards.

We need people who have skills in MySQL, AJAX and PHP. If you have at least one of those and can spare anything from 10+ hours a week, we would like to hear from you. We imagine recent graduates, students and IT experts who wish to try something of their own would be interested.

Please contact us on feedback@libboo.com for more details.
