Great News! Team Libboo has been selected as one of the finalists in the Mass Challenge competition. The Mass Challenge is the world’s largest ‘Startup’/entrepreneur competition; with hundreds of startup companies competing to be part of one of the most prestigious business ‘accelerator’ program. This means that team Libboo will now have access to a wealth of resources that will send our innovation capabilities to ‘warp speed’!

Our road to Mass Challenge started a few months ago, when Chris Howard – CEO and co-founder of Libboo was invited to apply for the Mass Challenge. With less than 24 hours notice for the application deadline and drinking beer at Sullie’s Pub in Cambridge- Team Libboo got to work immediately. During the competition, the Mass Challenge judges: investors, successful entrepreneurs and top-notch business people review, analyze and probe each startup. Those few months were intense and Chris (team Libboo) worked tirelessly to gain the judges’ endorsements: platinum- for maximum kudos and diamond- well you get the idea.

By May 18th, Libboo had 6 platinum and 2 diamond endorsements and off to the second round- THE PITCH! And as we would say in RedSox nation- Chris delivers a home-run presentation showcasing Libboo. And by 2:00pm on May 24th- we get the news- Team Libboo has made it to the finalists’ round and have a spot in the Mass Challenge ‘accelerator’.
